Radiant heating combats escaping warm air (video)
Radiant heating provides an effective, lower cost alternative to traditional heating solutions by heating surfaces and allowing settings on a standard heating systems to be lowered. As a result, the building consumes less energy and reduces expenses by as much as 35 percent over conventional methods.
Radiant heating enables a building to maintain its warmth in situations when the opening of facility doors are constantly opened, otherwise allowing warm, conditioned air to escape.
The application is used in a number of commercial settings. Among them:
- Airplane hangars
- Churches
- Fire stations
- Schools
- Retails stores
Superior Radiant Products, which featured its products recently at AHR 2016 in Orlando, has designed and manufactured energy efficient infrared heating solutions for 20 years. Located in the United States, Canada and China, SRP offers a complete range of gas fired low and high intensity infrared heaters for industrial, commercial, agricultural and residential applications worldwide.
