Innovative clips ensure ICF wall integrity
One of the keys to a successful insulated concrete form project is to end up with straight and true walls, and one manufacturer has addressed that problem.
At the 2015 International Builders' Show, Randy Daniels, regional sales manager with Fox Blocks, a maker of insulated concrete forms, explained the company's HV clips. The same clip – H for horizontal and V for vertical – is used to tie together the courses of insulated concrete forms as the wall is built. The clips provide an added measure of stability to ensure the forms don't move during assembly or the concrete pour, Daniels said.
