High performance sealant tackles the tough building envelope details
Builders know the devil is in the details, and window and siding sealant can help get those details right.
OSI launched its Quad Max window and siding sealant for sealing around interior/exterior windows, doors and siding.
At the 2015 International Builder's Show, John DiGirolamo reviewed some of the challenges that building professionals have to overcome to ensure sealant is able to do its job in protecting the building envelope.
DiGirolamo noted that Quad Max bonds to a wide variety of materials without need for a primer such as fiber cement, cedar, brick, stone, coated aluminum, fiberglass, vinyl, PVC, stucco, EIFS, wood, glass, and flashing tapes and Kynar coatings and remains flexible across a wide temperature range.
